What happens if we don't stop playing?
Three actors improvise for three days without interruption. They stay in character, even when the camera is not rolling. We decide during the shoot which moments are recorded, when we go to sleep and how to react if the group splits up. The only basic agreement is that we keep playing.

Shooting for 72 hours

After a year of preparation in Zurich, we traveled to Brandenburg with a small team of 10 people. I was fascinated by the idea of completely improvising and going into the shoot without a script. We were driven by curiosity about something we didn't know what it was. After playing and shooting for 24 hours, the dynamics between the characters became more and more diffuse for the actors and the team. The most difficult moments were those in which we all didn't know what the scene meant but continued shooting anyway. It took us 48 hours to find a common rhythm. The camera was in the right places at the right time and the conflicts between the characters became precise. On the last day of shooting, we went to a rave in Berlin and shot the climax of the film, which later became the starting point of the story in the edit.
